I took a break from my peony series to do another poppy piece. I'm hoping to get outside for some plein air painting this week if it would ever stop raining! It's been a wet spring and summer so far. Warm weather is a long time coming up here in the Buffalo area...I'm ready for some warm summer days.

Here are a few photos from our redFISH gallery show. I'm doing the show with my sister-in-law, Cindy, who is a fantastic pastel artist. It will hang until July 25th, so those of you in western New York...come check it out! I meant to post this before...I have a lot of new work that went into my show. This is the last of the flowers in vase series. 2 of the 3 sold on opening night, so that was a great boost! I'll post some more photos from the opening soon.
