I apologize for my lack of posting lately...It's crunch time here getting ready for my upcoming art show. Here's some progression photos of a painting I've been working on. This painting is from an apple orchard in Knox Farm State Park, a lovely place literally right around the corner from my house.
I paint the canvas orange to start...bits of it will show through here and there in the end
and give a nice, glowing effect. Shadows are blocked in at this point.
Just laying in the major areas of color...
