While it's HOT outside, I've been busy busy painting in my studio finishing up my summer collection. I'm excited to share some new pieces from my big sky series with lots of luscious color, dramatic mood, and loose, expressive brushwork. Hope to see you at this Friday's Open Studio!

Kristina Wentzell Fine Art announces a special open studio show presenting her 2011 summer collection.

Featuring her vibrant, impressionist landscape, flora & fauna oil paintings, the show will feature Kristina's new "big sky" series with lots of luscious color, dramatic moods, and expressive brushwork.

Also on display will be Kristina's popular backyard chicken series, poppies, and local landscapes. This will be the only chance to see the entire collection before the her summer show season begins.

more poppies!

Just took my work down from the Keene Art Walk. It's always nice to have lots of paintings to display at home in between shows. Here's a new piece that is looking very bright and cheerful on my breezeway.
