Phew! The last of my outdoor shows is over and it was a doozy. We had a violent windstorm at the end of the day on Saturday and many artists' tents were completely destroyed. Luckily, my tent made it through undamaged, a bit drenched and windblown but okay.
Many thanks to the folks who braved the gusty weather and came out to the show. My next event will be indoors, safely warm and dry!

The sad destruction after the storm on Saturday...it was a wild afternoon!
A big thank you to everyone who came out to my studio this weekend! I couldn't have asked for a more glorious weekend--great to meet and chat with folks. Here are a few photos (gotta capture my studio when it is in its spiffed up state!)
I'll be having another open studio for my 2nd Annual 100 Painting Sale on November 11th & 12th. More details coming soon!
The weather forecast is looking great...hope you can take a nice drive in the lovely Monadnock region and visit me in my home studio. Go HERE for map and more details about the Fall Foliage Art Studio Tour.
Just finished a hand-painted bowl for The Colonial Theater in Keene. Local artists were asked to paint wooden bowls for a fundraiser auction. The theme for the event is Bolero and I thought my poppies with a rich dark background would be perfect. I also got to try out gold leafing--something I've been wanting to try for a while. A fun change of pace!
