scarlet meadow

Lots of activity going on my studio this month!

Starting with a much needed make-over: it's a wonder what bright new paint and proper lighting can do for your spirits! I work out of my home (shared with husband and two children) and am fortunate to have my own room to use as a studio. However, the room had pine paneling, old yucky carpeting and was dim and dark... all I used it for was a storage space and was working out of my bright, lovely dining room. Got a lot of work done in there over the summer but not so great for family dining! So, that problem solved...I am now hard at work in my new space getting ready for two upcoming shows, Hildene Fall Arts Festival and the Hollis Fine Art Festival. I'm really excited about these last shows of the season, hope you can come out to see me. I've been working on a series of small square mix and match paintings that are very affordably priced. More on those soon.
