Keene Art this week!

Hi folks,

My work will be featured in this year's Keene Art Walk, Keene NH. My paintings will be in at the E.F. Lane Hotel in my hometown, beautiful downtown Keene, NH. The work will be on display June 4th through June 13th.

Opening festivities are Friday, June 4th, 5:30 to 7:30pm. There will be over 75 artists, music, food, and "art on the line" featuring artwork by local school children. Fun for the whole family. Hope to see you there!

best in show

This month I participated in a fundraiser for a great local non-profit: the Stonewall Farm Annual Art Auction. Many local artists submitted work for this worthy cause and I am pleased to announce that my piece "lazy day" won best in show.

I've been painting chickens this year. I'm ready to join the craze of having a backyard flock of laying hens....it won't work out until next summer so I'm getting by with just painting them for now.

This piece is part of a show "Creatures: Real & Imagined" at the Sharon Arts Center, Peterborough, NH. May 7th - July 4th.
