Sharon Arts Center ~ featured artist

I'm pleased to announce that I will be the featured artist for the month of November at the Sharon Arts Center, Peterborough, NH. I will be showing many of my floral pieces, including this poppy painting, New England landscapes and my backyard chicken series.

frizzle cochin

Here's another from my backyard chicken series. Can you tell I've got a thing for 'em? This girl is a frizzle-cochin, a very aptly named breed with their feathers going every which-way. So much fun to paint!

Hollis this weekend!

UPDATE: Due to the high winds today, I will only be at the show on Sunday, 10am -4pm!

The weather will be clearing up and should be a nice weekend to take a drive and see some great art and the last of the fall foliage. Hope to see you!

Thanks to everyone who came out to see me this weekend at the Hildene show. What a glorious weekend it turned out to be (after that pesky rain on Friday). I'm gearing up for my last show of the season, the 5th Annual Hollis Fine Art Festival in Hollis, NH. It's just a short, 1 hour drive north from the Boston area and the foliage should be in full peak. Hope to see you!

Hildene this weekend!

UPDATE: due to the storm, the show is canceled for Friday. Weather looks good for the rest of the show!

I'm all set up for the Hildene Fall Arts Festival in Manchester, Vermont. This is a great event, with 200 fine artists and craftsmen, music, not-your-usual fair food including a Vermont made beer and cheese tent all set in the gorgeous green mountains of Vermont. Hope to see you this weekend! Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 10am to 5pm.
